Have you ever had Boba tea? Me either. I have however been to the Boba Tea House in Fort Worth/ Keller. Josh and I had a night to ourselves the other night because B stayed with my parents. What a glorious night it was!! I was so excited about the day b/c I saw in the morning that there was Blue Bell ice cream pints for $.88 at alberstons and I knew all day that's what I would have for desert. It was a song in my heart. I was dreaming of the ice cream I could stock pile in my freezer. Anyway, We started the night out by going to Sam's Club to get "try-outs" and shop some. No try-outs were to be had and we got so hungry no shopping was to be done. We left after walking around for a bit and decided to go get something to eat. THe question is always "What do we want to eat?" Deciding is the hard part. We were going to eat Mexican ( always my first choice) Then we were going to go to the Chinese Buffet. We ended up deciding that since I had been wanting to try this Boba Tea House (BTH) we would go atleast look at the menu and decide from there. We ended up saying and it was a wonderful experience, allthough it was a very cold one. We were sat by the door and it was a cold night, so the chill of the outdoors and the iced jasmine tea made things a little goose-ish.(as in goose bumps)
Josh was feeling adventurous, which doesn't happen in the food realm very often, so we started off with some spring rolls (with the gummy wrapper not the crispy) then we had some OH SO good sushi called Lazy Shrimp. We thought the name fit us but all but the shrimp part. Neither of us are shrimpy. Ok so then we had Orange Chicken and Combination Lo Mein. Everything was very delish. Like an musical on my tounge. The Lazy Shrimp was my favorite thing of the entire week. Is that bad?
So after dinner we went to blockbuster to look at buying some movies and or renting a few that we couldn't red box. Ended up with nothing so we went grociery shopping (the things you do when you are babyless=) The whole time we shopped we were excited about the next trip, Albertsons to get the blue bell. Well we arrived and it was all gone. All except 3 pints of dutch chocolate. I would have been excited but I'm not really wanting dutch choc. I wanted cookies and cream or cookie dough or strawberry or SOMETHING. but NOOOO. So this is how it went down. We were into trying some new things so we went with some different types of Ben and Jerry's.
it was fun. then we watched our new dvd The Mighty Bee. If you haven't checked it out, you should, its amy phoeler as the voice of funny. the end.
