And I'm baaack!

After a much need Hiatus from blogging I am back. (kidding) I just forget to show up here sometimes. I get so enthralled in reading others personal stories I forget to come share my own story. Another reason, I hate my computer so I rarely get on it at all, I stick to the ole iphone, and it's not super condusive to blogging for me.

Ok so the news, I am 20 weeks and 3 days pregnant with a little boy. His name is Frazier Lee Balogh. We are all very excited about this new member of our family and it's very fun to watch Bailey realizing that she is going to be a big sister. She however can't pronounce Frazier well so it comes out "shaver". Bailey loves to kiss my belly and say "mor-win shaver" translated, "morning Frazier"
Bailey is 20 months old and a total joy to be around. She is spunky and funny and full of energy. She has some Sass and is girly girl. Her very favorite things to do are talk on the "phone" I put phone is quotes b/c she will use anything from a marker to a cracker wrapper, to her hand as a communication device. She LOVES to read and will do so for over an hour a day. She also loves music and dancing. Her new love in the last 2 weeks is swimming and she will willingly put her own head underwater over and over and over.
Bailey is extremely good at recognizing people and remembering their names.
Ok that's the update for now, I am going to try to keep these shorter and and more frequent. Love yall!

Who knew Big Rats Were Fun?

Josh, Bailey and I went with some friends to Chuckie Cheese and I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a blast (I DID!) Bailey enjoyed the place but hated Chuckie, David enjoyed both, and us adults (if you can call us that) enjoyed it all, including the pizza!
Here are a few pics of the evening.

Week 2

So I am at home for my second week in my new "career". This last one was wonderful, lots of good times with Bailey, got some crafty stuff done and I cooked alot. I feel like I am becoming a pro at cooking and then cleaning the kitchen in just enough time to make another meal.

This week Bailey and I have had some visitors. Kaliyah and Kamara(my neices)are in town from Virginia so we've been having a blast. Here's a little recap of what we've been up to...

first was sliding in the living room.

next was pretending to be on a space ship (they thought it was first class with the drinks and all)

.

We also watched the snow fall!

Aunt B-Jo attempted to do the girls hair. How'd I do mom? They pig tails were neat and the girls were clean, both good things.
DINNER TIME!!!

Bailey spreading the dough. She also liked to grab and EAT the dough. annoying

All of the girls did SOO well at helping spread the sauce-)

You may or may not be able to see the cheese they are "sprinkling".

Finished product: Italian Chicken Pizza! YUM!

Too bad when the kids get to eat it it looks a little more like this.

Oh well, they REALLY enjoyed it. Epecially since it was movie and pizza. We ate dinner and watched Hoodwinked, a great movie.

The only sad thing is, after dinner they didn't get to REALLY enjoy desert at all, this is what it looked like but the taste.... was not worth eating. We looked at these great looking cinnamon bite rolly things but didn't eat them.=(

Hope you enjoy plugging in with your imagination all of the funny things that happened in between all of these snapshots. Kelly, thanks for letting me borrow your ladies for a few days, it really has been a joy. I love yall!

Very New Chapter

So again it's been months since I have blogged, I'm back on the horse so to speak, so I think. We shall see.
I have begun a very new chapter in my life. I am officially a Home Maker by profession. AAAHHHH. what a very exciting time for me.
Today was my first day not being employed but at the same time, today is Saturday so I just took it as a real Saturday. I used to work every Saturday but today I made it a point to stay in my PJs almost all day, hang around the house and get done the things I "wanted" to get done. No pressure, just a Saturday.
I have been doing some research on ways to save money from the home and creative things to do with out spending money as well as getting some things organized around here so I am not spending my days working around the mess. I've got goals, I've got timelines, I've got menus, I've got books to read, I've got things to do by golly!!!
I am very excited about the changes taking place in the Texas Balogh's lives, hopefully I will remember to chronicle them regularly.
Here's to stay at home moms. I'm open to advise and helps and stories. I need that good ole supprt system.
Thanks!
